Miss Mother Nature

My entry for contest, "Mother Nature." Needing to be represented in some artistic way. So, I made her a woman, completely adorned with all her beautiful talents. The ocean, the forest, the ice, volcanos and a variety of animals. Oh god, all the animals. 17 total creature types. Can you pick all of them out?


And of course, you can't forget the humans. We are so interwoven into mother nature. Enjoying her oceans, eating her game, discovering her treasures; both destroying it, and trying to preserve it, all at the same time.


I really, really, really, really love how this came out. One of the more complicated things I've ever done. Her hair goes from the surface to the deep, her skin is as various as the world itself.


Edit: No one's said anything about the subtle Beetle's reference?
